IEC60529 IPX5 IPX6 Hose Nozzle Test Device

The IPX5/6 Handheld Jet Nozzle is designed and manufactured according to IEC60529 clause 14.2.5 and clause 14.2.6, used to verify protection against water into the second feature of 5/6 of the digital electronic and electrical products. The IPX5 and IPX6 nozzles are easy to be switched during use.


The device needs to configure a support table (speed of 1RPM), a high power pump, two high precision flowmeter, in order 
to ensure the stability and accuracy of the test of water flow.


Working principle:

The test device simulates that when the test samples suffer water flow as 12.5 +0.625L/min or 100 + 5 L/min in a certain period 
of time, thus to verify the waterproof performance of the  sample’s enclosure.


The test time is calculated according to the sample surface area: 1min/m², but the short test time is not less than 3min.
